The graphic work confuse the perception of the fabric; the stripe is used as a reinforcement to thwart the linearity of the weave. The stripe is not used casually, but rather to highlight the textile culture between the lines. The graphics explore the relationship between interlacing and its motifs. The textile lexicon raised by this research titillates the history of textiles and whispers parallels between graphic design, materiality and heritage.<br>The graphic work deforms the representation and perception of fabric. The stripe is used as a reinforcement to thwart the linearity of the weave. The textiles represented are flat, but evoke a striped textile folded into a pleat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>tramesFACTICES<\/strong><\/em> sonde l\u2019id\u00e9e m\u00eame du tissu, son architecture, sa plasticit\u00e9 et ses repr\u00e9sentations. Le travail graphique mis en oeuvre trompe la perception du tissu; la rayure vient en renfort pour d\u00e9jouer la lin\u00e9arit\u00e9 du tissage. Elle n\u2019est pas mise en avant fortuitement, elle met en avant entre les lignes toute la culture textile. Les graphismes explorent la relation entre l\u2019entrelacs et ses motifs. Le lexique textile soulev\u00e9 par cette recherche titille l\u2019histoire des textiles et chuchote des parall\u00e8les entre graphisme, mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 et patrimoine.<br>Le travail graphique mis en oeuvre trompe la repr\u00e9sentation du tissu et sa perception. La rayure vient en renfort pour d\u00e9jouer la lin\u00e9arit\u00e9 du tissage. Ultimately, this production falls somewhere between an assertive plastic creation and more applied developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stripes have a fundamental link with textiles, questioning the very beginnings of weaving and intuitively inviting itself into the practice; and in meaning so, it has always absorbed my gaze. I can not talk about stripes without mentioning the historical research and enlightening analyses of Michel Pastoureau.                                           .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stripes maintain a deep, almost primal bond with textiles;  they echo the very genesis of weaving, emerging instinctively through the gesture itself. In this quiet persistence, they have always drawn my gaze.
