Belgium is Design is pleased to announce that the exhibition Woven Whispers, conceived and produced by the Belgium is Design team for Milan Design Week 2025, will be presented in Belgium at the CID – Centre of innovation and design at Grand-Hornu.
As every year, Belgium is Design takes part in the international Milan Design Week to promote Belgian design. This year, the focus shifted to a unique and atypical theme. The exhibition highlights Belgian textile design, exploring everything from experimentation and material research to various applications and products development. This year it took place at Alcova, one of the most widely followed projects during the Fuorisalone.
WOVEN WHISPERS is a nod to Belgium’s rich textile history, bringing together the innovative and refined qualities of textiles while emphasizing the craftsmanship and expertise of the various designers. The exhibition brings together 17 textile projects that offer warmth, comfort, and a profound sense of connection.
